Include URLs for any required materials in the "Statement of Objectives" portion of the MIT online application. Electronic portfolio submissions are greatly preferred.

Additional materials may be mailed, also by the December 15 deadline, to:

Massachusetts Institute of Technology

77 Massachusetts Avenue
Cambridge, MA 02139

  • Accepted formats: URL (preferred), CD, DVD, print
  • Do not submit portfolio directly to faculty member(s); include portfolio URL in the "Statement of Objectives" section of the online MIT application
  • To have your portfolio returned, include return postage (US funds only) in any of the following forms: postage stamps, money order, or personal check
  • This sum must be separate from the application fee
